November 04 – Review by Officer Nice – MOSH-PIT JUSTICE – THE FIFTH OF DOOM (Iron Shield Records / Soulfood)

I’ve been in Bulgaria once, a village near the Black Sea. Although I didn’t visit anything I had a good time. It was a break after a difficult time, when I was deep because of personal issues. In my time there I did some gigs, just in the pubs over there. Bulgaria knows a lot of good cover bands and every day you can see them play in the local pubs. I even saw a band with a guitar player that used to be part of Sabbath Judas Sabbath, the cover band from James Rivera (Helstar etc.). It wasn’t my best holiday ever but I met there a friend for life and that makes me liking Bulgaria.

What I missed over there were Metal heads and Metal bands but I was in a little touristic village, that declares a lot. But there are lots of Metal heads in this country and Mosh-Pit Justice is a band from the borders of the Black Sea as well. This band is inspired by the old school Bay Area Thrash metal and bands like Forbidden and Testament are crossing my mind. This band delivers melodic mid-tempo Thrash and US sounding Power Metal.
