November – Review by Stefan – ENTER – 1991-IMAGES FROM FLOATING WORLDS (Pure Prog Records / Soulfood)

Enter is an Italian band that released demo work in the early 90’s, thanks to Pure Prog Records all compositions of yesteryear are finally being made available to the public. Entitled “1991-Images From Floating”, get ready for a journey through the unique world of ‘quirky’ Progressive Rock music, a description you’d better take for truth. Enter’s style has 100% nothing to do with Hard Rock or Metal, the band doesn’t even have a guitarist in their ranks !

Original founder/keyboardist Gabriele Bulfon has built a career over the years as a successful fusion/jazz pianist and composer. Second original member Marco Ferranti became the singer and drummer in a Queen tribute act MerQury Band. Enter’s vocalist Vittorio Ballerio became for decades a full member of Italian ProgMetal masters Adramelch, currently he’s still active in a band called Carvaggio. Also bass player Franco Avalli joined the Adramelch line-up during the “Irae Melanox” album, now he’s a jazz/fusion bassist joining forces with soulmate, Enter founder G.
